Walnut Desk
30"H x 47.5"W x 22"D
Air Dried Walnut, White Oak
Moved photography efforts to the garage. The basement is a bit cluttered at the moment. The garage does seem to be a decent fit though I still like more room. Mainly to get further away from the piece.
Here trying to photograph those pulls... tricky!

Really beautiful work - even the bottom looks great.
And thanks for the post showing how you photograph your projects. I am wanting to do something like this for my current project, but it will be sooo big...
Beautiful all around! Well done Sir.
fantastic work man, i see you tried out that step on the sides of the drawer, how'd that work out for ya?
Very nice ... thanks for the gratuitous drawer pull shots! So ... is this a spec' or a commissioned piece?
Thanks guys!
Yeah the pic of the bottom is actually one of my favorites heh.
The step on the drawer side is something I've wanted to try and thought that it was fitting for this piece. Worked out pretty nicely though it is a little more work.
heh the piece is kind of both spec and commission... I would like a new/real desk, I didn't have anything else "in the books" and thought a desk would be a good item for a portfolio. It will be going to the gallery for a time I believe as "not for sale" but if someone where to offer a price I couldn't refuse... I'd think a commission for something like it is more likely ;).
Nice! I like the underside photo a lot.
Nice work Nick, I like the white oak you went with for the drawer sides...and yeah, that's not an easy would to dovetail! I like that underside photo too
